WELCOME TO AUFO - Austin, TX
Welcome to Arcade UFO, the only Japanese-style Game Center in Texas!
Our goal is to bring you the newest and most interesting arcade titles from Japan, Korea, the USA and other countries while providing a haven for the fighting game, music game and racing game communities.
At the same time, we respect the origin of arcades and always try to feature a few great classic games with our limited space.
We opened Arcade UFO to follow in the footsteps of the legendary Einstein's Arcade (R.I.P.). Our goal is to continue Austin's 20+ year tradition of community-based video arcades.
We welcome gamers of all ages! Alcoholic beverages are not served nor allowed for consumption at the arcade.
RANBAT TOURNAMENT SERIES SEASON 7

Picture pretty much says it all.
We’ve wanted to give this game some floor space for quite a while due to all the requests, and it has finally gotten its turn. If you never had a chance to play this game in an arcade, you are either too young or just weren’t cool! We immediately unlocked the three secret characters (Classic Sub-Zero, Ermac, Mileena) so the entire arcade cast is at your disposal (Motaro, Rain and the like were console-only characters).
The only downside to installing UMK3 in a Japanese cabinet is the button layout. Of course, there are no Japanese control panels that actually have the Mortal Kombat button layout, so we’re using the below layout as a workable alternative:
HP BLOCK HK
LP RUN LK
While the original UMK3 cabinet was as follows:
HP HK
Block
LP LK
RUN
In retrospect, the original layout was actually really awful. It wasn’t ergonomic at all. Essentially, you had to move your entire hand so that your thumb could hit the “Run” button (which you use a lot in this game!) then shift your hand back to the “home keys” for dial-in combo time. While the button layout we’re using isn’t the authentic arcade layout, I think anyone who played the original UMK3 in arcades will be able to adjust really quickly–and with fewer hand cramps.
25c per play, infinite fun!

Super Street Fighter 4: Arcade Edition Ver. 2012 is here! Come play on our 4 linked cabinets.
